Cairn O'Mohr

Named after a pile of rocks on top of a hill in Australia. Ron is the chief winemaker and, by all accounts, quite a character. He started, with his partner Judith, in earnest in 1987 and has based his business on the 18th century farmsteading approach. Ingredient sourcing and production is all based around Perthshire in Scotland. Building from a local base it has now grown to produce over 200,000 bottles per year. This year Cairn O’Mohr has won several accolades including three gold ‘Taste’ awards (the Sparkling Strawberry won the coveted 3 star Gold Award). Certainly one of the most impressive ‘Country Wineries’ in the UK.
